La concejala Soledad Pérez denunció a Nora Cuevas por haber respaldado un despido que se le cursó a un guardia del polideportivo por haber ayudado a un perro herido.
Todo esto sucedio en el polideportivo municipal de San Bernardo, cuando en una jornada un guardia prestó servicio y socorró a un perro que se encontraba grave. El guardia argumenta que los perros les acompañan y le dan seguridad en su labor de vigilancia. Señaló el guardia no estar arrepentido de haberle salvado la vida al perrito.
Esta situación no la compartió el supervisor de la empresa de seguridad que tiene la licitación del municipio. A este supervisor se le conoce como a alguien que detesta a los animales, y es por eso que decidió despedir al guardia.
Esta situación le afectó mucho a la concejala Soledad Pérez, quién intentó hablar con Nora Cuevas para que la municipalidad respaldara el actuar del vigilante, por estar acorde al espíritu de cuidado a los animales, sin embargo Nora Cuevas se negó y salió a respaldar el despido del guardia.
